Camping La Colline is located near the charming town of Virton, which is just 2.5 kilometres from the campsite. Here you can find your daily groceries, cosy terraces, and local shops. Its location in the Gaume region ensures a mild climate and a rolling landscape that differs from the rest of the Ardennes. Furthermore, the campsite is only 8 kilometres from the French border and 25 kilometres from Luxembourg, making day trips to neighbouring countries very easy.

In the immediate vicinity, you will find numerous historical and cultural sights. For example, visit the famous Orval Abbey, where you can admire the brewery and historical ruins. For a dive into World War II history, drive about 30 minutes to Fort Fermont. This is one of the best-preserved forts of the Maginot Line, where you can explore underground tunnels and casemates. The city of Arlon is also just a half-hour drive away. In this city, you can visit St. Martin’s Church or take a walk through the Archaeological Museum to see Roman artefacts.

For a family day out, Bouillon is an excellent choice. Here, the impressive Bouillon Castle dominates the skyline, and you can enjoy birds of prey shows.
