Camping Aluna Vacances is a beautiful 5-star campsite in the middle of the Ardèche. You can rent comfortable and luxurious rental accommodations, but there are also many camping spots. You will enjoy a large water park and a good restaurant here at a not too large campground. The animation team organizes fun activities during the day but there are also great shows in the evening. Dutch entertainment is available in high season. The water park has a heated pool and there are slides, waterfalls and rivers. There is also a heated indoor pool! Vallon Pont d’Arc is nearby and furthermore you can canoe in the area, there are climbing forests and plenty of French villages to visit. Camping Aluna Vacances is a terraced campsite so there is some difference in altitude. If you have mobility problems then this is something to consider.

Camping Aluna Vacances is near the village of Ruoms and Vallon Pont d’Arc, the famous natural arch bridge over the Ardèche River. You are also near the gateway to the Gorges de l’Ardèche, this is a deep gorge and highly recommended.
Ardeche is a popular vacation destination in France because of its rugged and varied landscape. On the Ardeche River you can do great kayaking and canyoning; it is about 3 kilometers from the campground. Furthermore, there are several climbing opportunities in the area and you can make beautiful cycling and hiking trips.
Other tips for the area include the town of Balazuc and the city of Avignon, the rock of Sampzon from which you have a wide view of the surroundings of the southern Ardèche and the caves of Chauvet and the Cacalièregrot.
Camping Aluna Vacances consists of over 30% pitches. Therefore, this allows you to go there with your own camping equipment. You may bring your dog to the various camp sites. There are three types of pitches, namely:
There are several washrooms that are well kept clean. There is also a laundromat with washing machines and tumble dryers.
Several luxury mobile homes from Roan, Eurocamp and others are available for rent at Camping Aluna Vacances. We will describe them further below. Nice detail: some of the Roan Comfort Plus accommodations have a magnificent view over the green valley! You book accommodations through Eurocamp, Roan, Allcamps, VacanceSelect and LuxCamp.
The centerpiece of Camping Aluna Vacances is the large water park. There is a new indoor & heated indoor swimming pool where you can enjoy swimming, even in less than nice weather. There you will also find a hot tub, a paddling pool and a fun water playground. Outside, there are several pools and multiple slides for even more water fun. There are also waterfalls and a river where you can swim against the current. In the paddling pool, little ones can play with water while parents supervise on a lounger.
The animation team organizes various water activities that you can attend here. Please note, in high season, the pool can be quite crowded. You should also note that lifeguards can be strict about the use of toys and inflatables.
In addition to the wonderful water park, there is also a Spa area for ultimate relaxation. You can book various treatments and massages, in addition you can use the outdoor area with jaccuzi or enjoy inside the Hamam.
In the center of the campsite is the camping village with the swimming pool, as well as the restaurant and bar. The restaurant offers good value for money and great food. The chef cooks with local products and turns them into delicious dishes. Drink a local wine with it and your evening is complete.
If you prefer to have a snack or pick up some food to eat at your own accommodation, you can visit the snack bar. This is where you pick up pizza, fries, snacks and more.
The bar is located by the pool, and you have a nice view of the water park. Have a nice hot or cold drink, cocktail or wine there. In the evening, this is also the place for drinks during the shows and evening entertainment. Inside the bar, important sports games are shown on the TV. In addition, you can get ice cream and various snacks.
An extensive entertainment program is offered throughout the season at Camping Aluna Vacances. There are three kids clubs: fun activities are offered for every age. The Club Kids is especially for 5-7 year olds. They can participate in fun sports activities, children’s shows and fun themed workshops such as the Circus.
If your children are between the ages of 8 and 12, they can join the Club Juniors. Activities organized for this target group include sports tournaments, a treasure hunt, children’s shows and they can also participate in the circus workshop.
Teens ages 13 to 17 should report to the Club Teens. They do such things as escape games, games in the water, sports tournaments, nocturne and they can also participate in trapeze or circus workshops.
The Club Kids and Club Junior is open 5 days a week and the Club Teens 4 days a week.
Furthermore, many sports activities are organized, such as aquafun, dance classes, various fitness/aerobics classes and other sports tournaments. For a fee, you can also participate in SUP lessons, escape games, kayak tours and more.
In the evening, the mini-disco and shows take place on the stage in the camping village. The shows are of a high standard and include music and cabaret nights, acrobatics, karaoke and dance shows.
If you want to challenge yourself athletically, you can do so at Camping Aluna Vacances. There is a soccer field where you can play a game of soccer and also a basketball court. There is also a multi-sport court and a tennis court. Of course, as you are used to in France, you can play a game of bocce and there are outdoor fitness equipment.
But the really cool sports activities you do outside the campsite, because the Ardèche area is fantastic for challenging sports. How about canoeing or kayaking down the Ardeche River? Slightly more adventurous is a canyoning trip. Furthermore, you can climb in several places, you can take quad tours and horseback rides are also possible. And, of course, there are plenty of beautiful hiking and biking tours to take. At the information point at the campground, they can tell you all about the most fun and beautiful activities outside the campground.
At the supermarket in the campground, you’ll find plenty of basic products you’ll need during your vacation. They also sell local products and you can go there daily for fresh sandwiches. Of course, there is also a kiosk where you can buy new swimwear, bathing slippers and postcards.
A larger supermarket is not far from the campground.
At Camping Aluna Vacances you can pay through your bracelet: with this means of payment you don’t need cash to pay during your vacation. Per family, you get two such bracelets. Should you want more, you can do so for a fee. If you don’t want to pay with a bracelet, you’ll need a credit card.
