Camping Le Val de Bonnal is located in Franche-Comté. This region is known for its diversity of activities so there is something for everyone in the family. Le Val de Bonnal is the perfect vacation destination for adventure, discovery and relaxation. Not only is there a lot to do, but nature demands its attention. The campground is located on a river and lake where there are daily activities planned. Wherever you look, you see mostly forests, mountain ranges and rivers.
Camping Le Val de Bonnal has nearly 300 pitches. Some are more beautiful than others, but they are all in quiet places. The campground grounds are also not too large. That way, parents can still always keep an eye on them. Furthermore, there is a multitude of different accommodations. Thus, they have the classic camping pitches, as well as luxury mobile homes.
Camping Le Val de Bonnal is a small campsite ideal for young and old. With the variety of activities of the region and the choice of accommodation at Le Val de Bonnal, he makes every vacation a dream vacation.
The campground is located in the heart of Franche-Comté. The Ognon River flows through the property. The estate has 150 hectares of nature and water. This allows people to enjoy both the beach and the countryside.
As the name implies, this campground is located near the village of Bonnal. This village also has a rich history that is well worth exploring.
Camping Le Val de Bonnal also has beautiful camping spots. They are incredibly spacious, all accommodate up to 6 people and are enclosed by hedges. The pitches are located in a wooded area and along the river. Pets are allowed at this campground, but please note that dogs are not allowed on certain pitches. The campground offers three different types of pitches, we describe them below:
The campground has 4 washrooms, scattered throughout the campground. They are all very spacious and equipped with sink, shower, toilet and there are two bathrooms for babies. Two washrooms are available for disabled persons.
There is also a laundry and ironing room for your laundry. You can buy tokens for this at the reception desk.
Camping Le Val de Bonnal has a wide range of rental accommodations available for every wallet and for all family sizes. You will rent the most beautiful and luxurious mobile homes, such as the Supreme Lounge and the Comfort Plus Lounge mobile home. The Azure Lounge is another beautiful mobile home you can book at this campground. There are also some more basic mobile homes for rent such as the Comfort, which can accommodate 6, 7 or 8 people. In the Comfort mobile home is pet-friendly and you may bring your dog. You book mobile homes through Allcamps, Roan, LuxCamp, Suncamp and Homair.
In addition to mobile homes, it is possible to rent a luxury lodge or safari tent. For example, there is the GlamLodge tent of 25m2 in size. This tent can accommodate 6 people and has two sleeping cabinshttps://camping.expert/go/4425-LuxCamp-212s (one double bed and 3 single beds are standard, an extra bed can be added by arrangement). You may bring your dog to this tent.
If you prefer to stay in the Caramel Safari Tent, that is also possible here. This 25m2 tent can accommodate up to 5 people. There are three sleeping cabins and a fully equipped kitchen. There is garden furniture and sun beds. The terrace is covered. Your pet is also allowed in this tent.
The Grand Lodgetent I can accommodate up to 8 people and is 50m2 in size. There are three sleeping cabins, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The spacious covered wooden porch has an outdoor kitchen with barbecue, and lounge chairs and deck chairs are at your disposal.

There are numerous activities and one of them is swimming. Camping Le Val de Bonnal has a heated aqua park with slides, a wading pool and a sunbathing area with deck chairs. For the littlest ones, they have splash park. This park measures 216 square meters and is full of water games and fountains. That way the little ones can get used to the water and the whole family has fun. One big plus is that both parks are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day from May 7 to Sept. 12.
Camping Le Val de Bonnal has a restaurant and a bar. Perfect for a small bite or extended family dinner. This all happens on the cozy covered terrace. When people fancy a night out, karaoke or dancing, this is also the place to be.
At le Val de Bonnal, entertainment is of course provided. The campground even belongs to the selection of child-friendly campsites. The schedule of entertainment is available at the campground. In the morning you have the kids’ club. In the afternoon there are sports and fun activities and in the evening there are other animations that last until 11:30 p.m. at the latest. Please note that some activities require registration. To that extent, the animators at le Val de Bonnal can ensure that everything goes smoothly and without problems.
As a sports enthusiast, you are also sure to know what to do at Camping Le Val de Bonnal. For those who have no fear of heights, there are tree-climbing courses. This is a paid activity and lasts about an hour. For the water sports enthusiasts among us, there are activities such as kayaking and fishing, but you can also have fun on the river.
There are other activities for the whole family. You can rent bikes or segways at the campground. This is the ideal way to get to know the region a little better. In addition, you can also play petanque or ping pong. If you haven’t had enough of the many games you can go to the game room. There you will find billiards, a foosball table, a pinball machine and so much more to have fun with.
Looking for something even sportier? Then you can work out at the gym or sports club.
There is a small store in the campground. Here you can find fresh bread every morning, as well as groceries, fruits and vegetables, fun souvenirs and local produce. There are no other stores directly near the campground. A few minutes away by car there is an Aldi and an Intermarche, though. Perfect for all your shopping!
Starting 100 meters from the campground, there is a restaurant called La Forge. This restaurant is definitely worth a try. It has a large terrace which makes for a real plus.
It is highly recommended to go outside the campsite and take a walk around the village and in nature. The campground is located in a very beautiful area. It would be a shame not to have discovered this area.
