Camping Rubicone is located in the town of Emilia-Rogmana in northern Italy. The campground has a beautiful location directly on the Adriatic coast and with a large private sandy beach. The many plants and flowers make the campground look like one big garden. With large sports fields, (children’s) swimming pools and its ideal location, Camping Rubicone is very suitable for both children and older youth. Unfortunately, you must leave your pet at home, as it is not allowed in the campground.
Set in a beautiful landscape, it is directly adjacent to a beautiful private sandy beach and is located between Rimini and Ravenna. In the beautiful surroundings there are trails for hiking and biking enthusiasts. In the village of San Mauro a Mare, which is within walking distance of the campsite, you will find a number of restaurants and a pleasant promenade. The well-known seaside resort of Rimini is about 12km away. Thanks to its vibrant nightlife, that city is very popular among young people. In addition, Rimini’s historic center is a draw for tourists.
Shop addicts can indulge in the large shopping center in Romagna, and for water rats, there is the well-known Aquafan Riccione water park. The private beach is directly adjacent to the campsite, is about 200 meters wide and has enough free umbrellas for all guests.
The campsite near Rimini is a perfect base for excursions to San Marino and Ravenna, among others, 28 and 30 km away respectively. You can also visit the famous cities of Venice and Florence. Reservations for excursions are recommended, however.
The campground is easily accessible by car. The nearest airport is in Rimini, an important airstrip for the tourist coast.
Pitches are scattered throughout the campground. Pitches are surrounded by shrubs and trees, providing ample privacy and welcome shade. The size of the pitches vary from 35m2 to 100m2. The 100m2 pitches have water supply and drainage. For sites without water supply and drainage, there are 4 sanitary buildings on the site with a total of 13 washing machines and 2 dryers (with coin system). There are two plumbing stations for RVs.
Internet Point and Wi-Fi connection is chargeable and covers 80% of the area. Wi-Fi service is free in the restaurant, arena bar and beach bar.

Glampers and those who like camping but don’t have a caravan or tent can also stay at Camping Rubicone. There are luxury bungalow tents and mobile homes you can rent. For vacationers who like even more luxury, there are also hotel rooms for rent at the main building.
The accommodations at this campground near Rimini are right on the beach, again surrounded by trees and plants for privacy and shelter. The bungalow tents are spacious and equipped with all basic facilities. In the luxury mobile homes you will enjoy even more comfort in the form of air conditioning and bathroom with toilet.
There is no shortage of water at Rubicone. In addition to the private beach, the campground has pools that offer both fun and relaxation. A new adventure park has been built for children, the Spraypark, where they can do many water activities on a large pirate ship.
Adults can relax in a new whirlpool. This bath has several massage nozzles that let you enjoy a wonderful relaxing moment. Please note that this is for a fee. They also have a new whirlpool filled with salt water.
Near the pools you will find a large sunbathing area where you can rent sunbeds. Ideal for reading a book, for example, while your children are having a great time.
Wearing a swim cap is not mandatory, and access to the pools and water park are free for all guests.
Those who think of Italian cuisine naturally think of pizza and pasta. Restaurant GR-EAT therefore offers tasty dishes from both Italian cuisine and typical Romagna cuisine. In addition to meat and fish dishes, they also have a wide range of pizzas. Of course, the dish is accompanied by the white or red wines of the country.
On the beach you will find Bar Ristorante Santa Lucia, where you can enjoy delicious dishes on a terrace with beautiful views of the sea. In the village, buy delicious, fresh rolls in the morning or end the day with a delicious cocktail.
At Camping Rubicone, First Animazione makes sure you don’t get bored. With numerous activities, tournaments and workshops organized for both children and adults, the animation team makes your vacation at Camping Rubicone extra enjoyable.
Their arena / amphitheater hosts live music, dance shows and plays by professional performers. You can also take Caribbean dance lessons or hip-hop lessons from one of their dancers. For children, there is an in-house disco and a playroom.
Those who want to stay top notch while on vacation can use the gym for both cardio and strength training.
Camping Rubicone’s activity program gives everyone the opportunity to participate in many different sports for free. Weekly tournaments and activities are organized with a chance to win prizes and medals. From ball sports like soccer and basketball to water sports like sailing and canoeing; every sport is possible at Camping Rubicone.
For indoor sports, you can visit their gym, where you can exercise both your fitness and muscles.
Useful to know is that the program may vary and not all activities are organized in the off-season.
The Rubicone Camping Village certainly does not lack stores and wellness. To keep looking good during your stay, you can visit the beauty center that houses both a hairdresser and beautician. For daily shopping, there is a supermarket where you can find all the basic necessities. A pharmacy is also available in case of emergency. In addition, you can rent a bicycle and explore the area.
