Camping Spiaggia e Mare in Italy is a super-fine family campsite right on the Adriatic Sea. This campground has a wonderful water park, cool entertainment and is perfect as a base for visiting places like Venice and Bologna. The campground is not very large and the pool, playground, restaurant and beach are centrally located in the campground, making it conveniently located. The water park consists of two parts, with pools and an aqua park. The aqua park in particular will please everyone thanks to its great paddling pool with a huge play area and the various slides. Camping Spiaggia e Mare is very child-friendly and especially suitable for families with children up to 11 years old, although older children will also have a great time in the water park. Camping Spiaggia e Mare is a friendly campsite and is taken care of to perfection. Thanks to the tall pine trees, there is plenty of shade, which is nice in the hot summers. And you walk right to the beautiful sandy beach and shallow sea. At the beach bar, enjoy delicious food and drinks. Thanks to the enthusiastic animation team, there is plenty to do and experience and they do their best to make sure you have a great vacation. If you are not going to Camping Spiaggia e Mare with your own camping equipment, there are plenty of rental accommodations to choose from such as mobile homes, lodge tents, safari tents and bungalow tents.
Camping Spiaggia e Mare is located on the Adriatic Sea, in the Ferrara region of northern Italy. It is located in the Comacchio Valley, and thanks to the tall pine trees, there is plenty of shade in the campground. From the campground, walk to the village of Porto Garibaldi, known as a fishing village. There is a small harbor and several restaurants to choose from for a nice meal. There are several fun days out to plan while staying at Camping Spiaggia e Mare. How about a day in Venice? You catch the ferry from Chioggia (about an hour’s drive from the campsite) and visit this unique city. Stroll through St. Mark’s Square, visit the Rialto Bridge and board a gondola to admire Venice from the water. A good alternative to Venice is Comacchio, also called Little Venice. Located just a few kilometers from Camping Spiaggia e Mare, Comacchio is a unique lagoon town. This city is built on 13 islands connected by bridges. Another tip is Bologna, this beautiful Italian city is also known as the “red city. It owes this name to its centuries-old buildings in red and earth tones. See the terracotta roofs from the Due Torri; these leaning towers are even more leaning than the Tower of Pisa! The city’s most beautiful square is Piazza Maggiore, which also houses the oldest building, the Palazzo del Podestà Palace. Other towns to visit are Ravenna and Ferrara. Camping Spiaggia e Mare is located in a valley and wetland area. As a result, there may be nuisance mosquitoes. The campground does its best to reduce the nuisance, but cannot completely counteract it.

There are three toilet blocks in the campground that are well cleaned but somewhat outdated. To wash your clothes, you can visit the laundry. The washing machines and clothes dryers operate by coin-operated machines and detergent is included. The laundry is across from the supermarket.
There is a wide choice of rental accommodations at Camping Spiaggia e Mare. Whether you want a mobile home or prefer a lodge tent, safari tent or bungalow tent, you have a wide choice. If you prefer a camping experience but in a luxury tent, choose one of the lodge tents, safari tents or bungalow tents. Book them through one of several providers.
The showpiece of Camping Spiaggia e Mare, however, is its water park. This fantastic pool and amazing splash paradise will delight the whole family! The water park is divided into two parts: the pool and the aqua park. Let’s start with the aqua park, because that will be where your kids will want to be most. The wading pool is actually a lagoon pool with a 30-cm layer of water with a spray park. There are several games and water squirts for them to play with. In the pool next to it, there is a playground equipment in the shape of a pirate boat of no less than 18 meters! It incorporates slides, water jets and there is a large dumpster where gallons of water come out. And then there are the slides! Adjacent to the pirate ship are three different slides, one of which is 15 meters high (especially for older children) and a tower 9.5 meters high with two more slides. There are also two pools where you can swim laps and splash around, among other things. Around the pools are sunbeds and some umbrellas. To use the water park, you will need to purchase a wristband at €22 per person upon arrival (children under 3 are free). Camping Spiaggia e Mare is located directly on the blue Adriatic Sea and has a beautiful private beach, equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. You have to rent these, but if you have rented certain accommodations (see ‘Accommodations’ tab) then a beach umbrella, sun bed and a deck chair are included for the entire duration of your vacation. The lovely sandy beach offers plenty of space to play in and the sea invites you to take a dip. Because it is shallow water, it is ideal for small children. At the fine beach bar on the beach, you can eat great food and they serve delicious cocktails!
The restaurant at Camping Spiaggia e Mare is top notch! You can eat great food, there is a lot of choice and it is affordable. A special children’s menu is available for children. If you fancy a real Italian pizza, take a seat in the pizza restaurant. Here they serve delicious pizza! You can also choose to order pizza and eat it at your own accommodation. This also applies to the restaurant, by the way. As mentioned, on the beach of Camping Spiaggia e Mare there is a fine beach bar. Here you can get a sandwich, burger, salad, fruit, smoothies and ice cream. The beach bar is open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily. At the bar you can enjoy tasty drinks, such as a cup of coffee, a soft drink or a nice cocktail. But also for a real Italian ice cream! You can get there between 7:30 a.m. and 11 p.m. By the way, there are options to make your vacation the ultimate relaxation vacation by choosing full or half board. This means you don’t have to think about breakfast, lunch and dinner yourself at all! You arrange this at the front desk upon arrival.
Camping Spiaggia e Mare’s enthusiastic animation team organizes daily fun activities for the whole family. For children, there are kids clubs for 5-8 year olds and 9-12 year olds. They organize games in the pool, baby dance, sports tournaments and in the evening there is a fun min disco. Children can also participate in soccer school. For adults, numerous sports activities are organized. Think aqua gym, spinning classes, zumba, beach volleyball and many more sports activities. You can also participate in archery or enjoy shows performed on the stage in the evening.
Centrally located on Camping Spiaggia e Mare you will find a fun playground. Children can climb, slide and run around. The amusement arcade is something the kids will also enjoy. There is a foosball table, pool table and air field hockey. There are also several slot machines where they can play fun games. There is also a sports field where you can play soccer, there are some outdoor fitness equipment and on the beach there is a beach volleyball net. But you can also rent canoes and pedal boats. If you want to explore the area by bike, rent a bike from the bike rental.
Camping Spiaggia e Mare has a mini-market where you can go in the morning for delicious fresh bread rolls. Furthermore, you can buy some basic necessities such as meats, vegetables and fruits. There is also a good butcher. But you can also find toys, newspapers and beach supplies here. For your “big” groceries, it is better to go to one of the supermarkets in the area. These can be found about a 5-minute drive away.
At Camping Spiaggia e Mare, your dog is welcome. The beach even has a separate area, Bau Beach, where dogs and their owners can enjoy the beach and the sea. Your dog can come camping with you on the pitches and is also welcome in several rental accommodations (see above). An ATM is available next to the reception desk. If you want to rent a safe, you can do so at the front desk. This costs €15 for the entire period of your stay. Wifi costs €20 euros, this applies to the entire stay. At the front desk they will help you.
