Camping Bella Italia is located at the very southern tip of Lake Garda. Where the so-called “Olive Tree Riviera” begins. This lively five-star campground is ideal for families. With a large, spectacular water park, with plenty of entertainment every day, a variety of sports options and four different restaurants, it’s never boring here. The campground is located near the village of Peschiera del Garda and both the pool, and Lake Garda are never far away. And neither is the village, as you can reach it via a beautiful boardwalk
Lake Garda, perhaps the most beautiful part of Italy, with crazy cities, beautiful nature, the high peaks of the Dolomites always visible. This area is one to explore. From Peschiera del Garda, take a walk to San Benedetto. Take advantage of the many bicycle routes in this area. Consider bike route Ciclovia delle Risorgive, which runs along the canal where the springs of the medium-sized Verona Plain emerge. A route of about 35 kilometers, the first ten kilometers of which are on an unpaved road surface. Cycle along the Mincio River, or the wine route in Sirmione. Those wonderful cities already mentioned are, for example, Verona, Venice or Milan, the first of which is only a half-hour drive away. Operas are often performed here; buy your tickets for these at the reception. But you’re on Lake Garda, why not take a boat out on the lake? Seeking the silence? No need for silence: Lake Garda is home to several amusement parks, including Gardaland Sealife with its many roller coasters.
Camping Bella Italia offers flat sites for RVs, caravans and tents. These spots have plenty of shade, and you’re never actually far from the beach. The sites all measure about 90 square meters, all have 16-amp electricity and all supply water, so for the camper, this is certainly a luxury campground. Scattered throughout the campground are six sanitary buildings. These too have every luxury, with hot water at all times. Of course, there are special bathrooms for people with disabilities. You will also find washing machines and dryers, which must be paid for.
Of course, you’ll also find a nice diversity of accommodations at Camping Bella Italia. Think apartments, bungalows and mobile homes, all immersed in green surroundings. You can also choose the hotel, which is also located in the campground. This hotel houses 57 rooms, all of which have balconies and are also fully equipped if you have young children. Downstairs is a bar with a breakfast buffet, and the hotel has its own indoor and outdoor pool. The accommodations already mentioned are located in the vacation village, where the choice is great. All accommodations have the luxury you would expect from a five-star campground.
This campground has a real water paradise in it, where all the space has also been taken and where, moreover, attention has been paid to the decoration. Think lots of colors, lots of adventure, lots of adrenaline. Fun for kids as well as adults. There are five large pools with slides, a separate children’s area and, for the track swimmer, a semi-olympic pool. You may be surprised by geysers, by cute aquatic animals, by splashing water and more. Trained lifeguards obviously keep a watchful eye, so there is also the space to relax on a sandy beach with an umbrella and a lounger. The pool also hosts aquarobis courses. The campground is right on Lake Garda, so of course you have access to a pebble beach right on the lake. Here you can do plenty of water sports activities.
There are four restaurants on the grounds, neatly scattered throughout the campground. Meet Corte Riga. Located in an old, restored building, this restaurant serves typical dishes from the region and you will feel like you are in an atmosphere of ancient times. La Terrazze has an enchanting view of the lake and features Mediterranean dishes. Locanda Bella Italia, on the contrary, has a pool view and makes some simpler, authentic, local dishes. More refined, delicious and a bit more culinary is Trattoria Bella Italia, with local meat specialties. Of course, there are takeout options at these restaurants, to devour these meals at your cottage or caravan. There are not only four restaurants, but also five bars, where you can also get small dishes or snacks. At Bella Gelati you feast on the most delicious Italian ice creams.
Camping Bella Italia has two clubs for youth. The mini club is for children 4 to 11 years old, and the junior club serves adolescents 12 to 16 years old. At these clubs, the children are fine, they involve them in numerous playful and fun activities. You can think of cooking classes, creative workshops, talent shows, crafts and a mini-disco. But there is also a focus on adults, or rather the family as a whole. For example, performances are held in the evening. This evening entertainment is indeed for young and old. Think games, group dances, theme nights and other types of performances.
And also if you like sports, you’ll be right at this campground. Indeed, there are plenty of sporting activities organized both at the campsite and on Lake Garda. As a group, you can go supping, but also consider aqua gym, fitness, beach volleyball, basketball, soccer, archery, tennis and table tennis. For a fee, there is also a water ski school right on the campground beach. Here you can learn to parasail, paraflying and ride the banana boat. All of these classes are not only suitable for beginners, but even if you are already slightly advanced, you can learn plenty here!
Certainly, there is a supermarket in the campground that opens its doors seven days a week. Moreover, a fruit and vegetable stand always sells fresh, seasonal vegetables. Looking for souvenirs? You can also find those here. On the contrary, should you want to do some more extensive shopping, there is a branch of Lidl nearby.
Around Lake Garda, there are plenty of amusement parks, water parks and more. The already mentioned Gardaland is the largest, with several roller coasters. But Aquapark Caneva, Movieland, Parco Natura Vida and the beautiful gardens of Parco Giardino Sigurtà are well worth a visit.
