About Camping Du Parc

Location and environment

We start close to the campsite: the medieval village of Lasize is 300 meters away. The village has a long history; this place was already inhabited in the Bronze Age. But during the Middle Ages, Lasize experienced its glory days, and you will notice that when you walk through the narrow, characteristic alleys here. Like going back in time. Visit the thirteen towers, the three entrance gates, the castle and especially the picturesque little port of Porto Vecchio. This one offers you a view of the “Dogana,” the customs. Especially in the summer, many events take place here, mostly related to history. Furthermore, of course, Lake Garda itself has much to offer. Besides the many historic towns, you will also find a number of amusement parks, such as Gardaland, Sea Life, Canevaworld and Parco Natura Vida. By the way, one of those historic towns is Peschiera del Garda, which is a World Heritage Site according to UNESCO. Slightly further away but still not far away is Verona, where Romeo and Juliet is set. The village of Bardolino is famous for its ice cream and other delicacies typical of this region.
